These catalytic grants helps close the critical gap blocking ideas from the point of professional development.
Presentation Micro-Grants
The Kiang Foundation Presentation Grant supports Oklahoma graduate students in the fields of Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, or Creative Writing whose work has been accepted for public presentation at a conference, symposium, reading, or comparable professional venue. The grant supports a specific moment when a student’s writing is ready to enter a broader conversation, by removing practical cost barriers that prevent students from sharing promising work outside their own university. The selection committee prioritizes original, curiosity-driven work that creates new connections between ideas, communities, or genres.
